days of winter
Mexico 2020
Néstor finds himself at a dead end in his life, working as a night receptionist in a hotel with no clear future in sight. His only alternative seems to be to move to the United States with his sister, but as the youngest and only child still living with his mother, Lilia, the decision to leave becomes impossible. Lilia, for her part, is also going through a period of uncertainty after losing her job, searching for her own path. The family dynamic changes with the arrival of Pepe, the older brother, allowing Néstor to reconnect with him.
Amidst this situation, the desperate need to sell an old family home that keeps Lilia anchored to the past paradoxically offers them both a catalyst. It is through these events and the family reconnection that Néstor and Lilia seem to find the strength and purpose to take the big step and move forward in their lives.
