Mexico 2020

Imelda and Luis are twins with an unbreakable bond, each other's only support in the sordid environment in which they live. Imelda, with deep faith, longs to become a nun, while Luis, with a budding gender identity, wants to be a girl. Driven by an unconscious desire to break free from their oppressive surroundings, they both pursue their deepest desires.

However, what seems like an escape to freedom will paradoxically drag them into even more challenging and complex situations and environments, testing their sibling bond and resilience.
