In the vibrant and turbulent Mexico of 1986, Carlos, a 17-year-old teenager, feels like a stranger in his own world, unable to find his place either within his family or at school. His life takes an unexpected turn when he receives an invitation to “Azteca,” a legendary nightclub that beats at the heart of Mexico City's underground scene. There, Carlos immerses himself in an effervescent subculture of post-punk music, burgeoning sexual freedom, and experimentation with drugs, a discovery that confronts him with new experiences and challenges his relationship with Gera, his lifelong best friend.

This new underground universe will force him to question his limits, explore his identity, and face the transformations that this awakening will bring to his life and his closest relationships.
